“De Imme” has created rules to cope with the Corona crisis and prevent spreading of the virus. These rules are designed in order to provide a safe stay. Our geographical isolation combined with strict application of these rules should make our place one of the safest in the Netherlands. These rules also apply to our external facilities: De Drie Eendjes, Oudeweg 111 in Ossenzijl en ’t Puttertje, Kalenberg Zuid 6 in Kalenberg.
Rule 1 – “single party” policy
When you rent one or more rooms at “De Imme”, you can be assured you will be the only party visiting our accommodation. You can come with 1, 2 or more persons, and you yourself have to decide whether your party is safe with respect to the corona virus.
Our condition is that we require a minimal two days stay, and that our minimum price is based on a two person stay. (This only applies to new reservations.) By this measure you yourself are in control of with whom you stay at our accommodation and thus of your own safety. This rule applies until the 1st of June, 2020.
Rule 2 – we stay at home
“De Imme” has an isolated location. We do not go out and thus avoid any risk of contamination in the outside world. Our stocks are sufficient, and any supplies needed are being delivered at our house – no trips outside are necessary. Of course, there is the contact with our guests to be managed. For this, there is rule 3.
Rule 3 – social distancing
Normally, we show our guests around the premise to make them find there way. Instead of this, we provide a small brochure which supplies all the necessary information. We maintain a distance of 1,5 meters at all times. This also applies to our ferry service. Consequently, and unfortunately we will not be able to give a hand when entering and exiting the boat. Meals are served before people enter the dining room.
Rule 4 – no guests with symptoms
Those guests who show symptoms like coughing, sneezing, running nose, throat ache and fever are kindly requested to cancel their reservation. The same goes for those who are here already and start showing these symptoms. Of course this doesn’t go for the incidental cough or sneeze!
In case you have booked directly with “De Imme”, there are no cancellation costs. Otherwise, the conditions of the external organisation apply (Wandelreijk, Kano & Bed, Natuurhuisje, Gastroeien).
Rule 5 – absolute hygiene
It goes without saying that “De Imme” provides a clean and hygienic environment at all times. However we now pay extra attention. All surfaces touched by people’s hands are being cleaned with disinfectant after departure: e.g., door handles, light switches, kitchen counters, tabletops, garbage cans, toilet knobs and seats, sinks, shower cabinets, taps.
Rule 6 – we show no symptoms ourselves
In case we ourselves show any symptoms, like coughing, sneezing, running nose, throat ache and fever, we are forced to close the accommodation until we have sufficiently healed. There will be no cancellation costs when this occurs.
Rule 7 – yogastudio and observatory are closed
At least until April 6, the yogastudio is not available for use and the observatory cannot be visitied.
Further, one of our neighbours at the Kalenbergergracht, near “De Imme”, is a family doctor who is quite willing to provide consultation or even pay a house visit, when necessary.
